I know I can’t own a hilltop, a meadow, or a mountainside.
But keeping it a secret somehow makes it mine.

While I am far from owning a piece of such a sublime place, some time back, I had good fortune to spend two days in a farm cabin situated in the lap of mountains somewhere in Tennessee. As much as I would like to return there, I remember, that it’s better not to travel right now. Reminiscing that placid experience, I illustrated this surface pattern instead.
