A big classic southern Magnolia tree blooming with flowers is one of the most benevolent and heart-warming sights I have ever seen. Its simple yet sublime appearance is filled with grandmotherly kindness & beauty.
The following pictures are from last spring, but I cannot wait to get back to this beautiful tree just to stand under the comfortable, loving shade of its canopy and smell the exquisite perfume of those huge blossoms.
As the warmer weather slowly approached, I decided to interpret my joy with Magnolias in a surface pattern with soft pastel hues of spring.
